Tri-En Corporation has been providing fire protection program engineering support to various electrical utilities in the nuclear industry since 1989. Our engineers have over 100 years of accumulated experience in the areas of Fire Protection Programs, fire hazards analyses, safe shutdown analyses, NFPA 805 analyses, fire protection engineering evaluations and design calculations, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) code reviews, administrative controls, configuration control management, and licensing and design basis support. Tri-En Corporation engineers have also performed Quality Assurance audits, Fire Prevention Inspections, Risk Management, and Fire Protection Functional Inspection (FPFI) self-assessments for various utilities. Tri-En Corporation is a woman- and minority- owned business, a member of the Woman and Minority Business Enterprise and has been an active participant in industry-related fire protection workshops held by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Department of Energy (DOE), the NFPA, and the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI).
